Each boot camp spans four weeks of exercise, with classes held up to five days a week. Classes might meet indoors or out, depending on which of the nine locations a client chooses to attend, but the regimen of exercise remains the same. Trainers cook up new routines daily, which might include fitness kickboxing, jump-roping, obstacle courses, or sport yoga, in which the class plays a scrimmage using the first student who manages to contort themselves into the shape of a football.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We were starting a family and were looking for a business that would not only fulfill our passion of fitness but also be convenient and flexible while raising a family.

We get to help and inspire others every day to get to a better place with themselves, hang out with the people we love, and make a living while doing it!
Instructors Brandon and Shawn named their fitness studio Function of Fitness to keep clients—and themselves—reminded of what wellness is all about. "You are a function of your fitness," they explain, and "the better your function, the greater the you." When we're fit, we're able to feel our best and accomplish more, and Brandon and Shawn like helping each client on their personal journey. The class schedule features boot camp, boxing sessions, and TRX workouts, along with lower-impact workouts such as slow flow candlelight yoga.
