Six Laser Hair-Removal Treatments on a Medium Area
Aster was absolutely amazing and was so accommodating. I got in an out within no time. No wait and got me right at my schedule appointment. Lead me through the whole process for the laser hair removal and was just comforting throughout the whole experience. The team at the front desk was also very welcoming and overall it was an amazing experience. I’m not sure about the negative reviews here, but they took my Groupon and everything. I would give them a 10 star if I could.
I went to the Maumee, OH location. Carrie was great. I purchased 50 units of Dysport, which is not quite enough to do your forehead area; they need to do your eyebrow area as well, which is considered a second area. I've also only had Botox in the past, and 1 unit of Botox = 3 units of Dysport. However, Carrie clearly explained this to me right off the bat and I had no problem paying for a little extra.
I felt comfortable from start to finish- I felt zero pain during the injection process, only pinpoint bruising the next day on a couple of the injection spots, but I bruise VERY easily. I also explained to her that I would love to totally eliminate all my fine lines, but I have two teenage daughters and do not want it to be so noticeable to them. I don't want my daughters thinking they ever NEED cosmetic procedures done, so I don't want to wake up looking 10 years younger- I just want to stop my makeup settling into my forehead lines.
The only (minor) complaint I have is the booking process. I purchased my Groupon on a Friday evening, so I sent an email to the address listed in the instructions. I received a response the next morning with a booking link, but the link did not list the Maumee location. I reached back out giving them my phone number and letting them know my ideal availability is after 4 PM. They scheduled me for Thursday at 7:30 PM (they are only open on Thursdays at the Maumee location). I received a text from Carrie the day of my appt, introducing herself and giving instructions how to get to the office, she also texted me a couple hours before my scheduled appointment and said if I wanted to come in early she was available, because her last appointment was at 4 and she didn't have anyone else until my 7:30. I feel like if there was such a large time gap, Pure should have scheduled me at 4:30 or so, since I had communicated with them that I was available any time after 4. (That obviously is no fault of Carrie, this is something Pure needs to smooth out). I was happy to go in early, as 7:30 was a pretty late time for me on a weeknight anyway. The whole process took about an hour, and I'm on day 3 and happy with my results. Full results take 2 weeks but I already see such an improvement.
My last Botox injections were about 4 years ago, as it's a pricey luxury, and the majority of my income goes to my two teenage girls. This Groupon allowed me to regain my confidence even if only temporarily. I will definitely return to Pure as funds allow. I 100% recommend.
