The yoga at Bluedeer follows the Ghosh lineage, which blends spiritual inspiration and disciplined physical exercise, so students are challenged on both a mental and a muscular level. The studio is heated to 95 degrees using a Far Infrared Heating system that penetrates the body more deeply and won't dry out the lungs. Classes begin with the beginner-friendly Core 26 program, a series of 26 postures designed by Bikram Choudury to improve blood flow and eliminate waste. More advanced classes build on these postures with more challenging alternatives to the traditional motions. Other programs include a Pilates class to tone and strengthen core muscle groups, and Nia, an all-level class based on grounded and danceable motions.
