Five Things to Know About Watercourse Way
Drawing inspiration from the natural hot springs of Tassajara in Carmel Valley, Watercourse Way has immersed visitors in relaxation since opening in 1980. Read on to learn more about this bath house spa and its variety of stress-sapping services.
There are eight different private hot tub rooms. Each one is different, too, with skylights, artful tiling, and waterfalls giving each room its own unique identity. You can hang out in these by yourself, with a partner, or even with a group of friends.
Massages are Swedish-style, unless otherwise requested. Guests can also add elements to their massage, such as warm stones, warm towel wraps, and aromatherapy oils.
They customize every facial treatment. Watercourse Way’s professionals carefully examine each client’s skin before recommending the right treatment to yield a healthy, balanced complexion. As a perk, every facial that’s 60 minutes or longer includes a hand, neck, and foot massage.
30-minute spa treatments are great for anyone short on time. These range from body scrubs to a body brush treatment designed to invigorate, exfoliate, and improve circulation.
They regularly feature monthly specials. That’s why it’s a good idea to check the Watercourse Way website before visiting.
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Here at Face-N-Body, we promote the most relaxing and efficient way of curing what ails your skin care and body. We are very picky with our products, we care about our clients more than anything else. We don't use strong chemical products and yet gave a best instant results.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
After working for many other spas, only Face-N-Body listens to our esthetician and client needs. We upgrade our skills and products whenever we can.
What do you love most about your job?
Being esthetician isn't only about giving facial treatments and selling products. We love helping people achieve and maintain their beautiful skin.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Some clients told us that they have no idea how clean their skin can be after coming to us. Most extraction at other spas leaves their skin redness and this does not happen at Face-N-Body.
No one can say Labelle founder Bella Schneider hasn't left her mark on the beauty industry. Since opening her flagship San Francisco location in 1976, the aesthetician has earned prestigious awards and garnered raves in Elle, People, and InStyle magazines. Her salon-spa has also treated icons ranging from Audrey Hepburn and Maria Shriver to Condoleezza Rice and Paris Hilton.
But you don't have to be rich and famous to get the star treatment. In fact, every client is welcomed with a warm foot soak that precedes the skin and body treatments. Bella's caviar and carat facial, a medley of caviar ampule, sea buckthorn, and pure gold, is an anti-aging treatment that can make the red carpet look like it's never known a shoeprint. Labelle offers roughly a dozen facials alone, as well as full-body skin treatments, makeup, and hair design. Bella's scientifically designed treatments come in bottle form as well, and clients can purchase her proprietary cleansers, toners, and scrubs to take home with them.
