  • Dana Carvey, Dennis Miller, and Kevin Nealon
Tacoma is happy to boast the theatrical stylings of Tacoma Dome. Next time you're in the neighborhood, this club should be at the top of your list with their amazing restaurant. No need to splurge on a baby sitter — tots will be right at home at this club. Tap your foot to Tacoma Dome's tunes — live performances are often showcased here. The lively clientele and reverberating tunes result in a noisy scene, so don't plan any quiet conversation at the club. During the club's weekend rush, waiting in line is the name of the game (so avoid Friday and Saturday nights if you're looking for something quick). Drivers will be happy to know that Tacoma Dome is located near many street and lot parking options. Tacoma Dome's customers can store their bikes safely at the rack around the corner.

  • S2BN Entertainment
Since opening with a Frank Sinatra performance in 1990, the stadium now known as Times Union Center has seen more than 15 million guests pass through its turnstiles. That’s only slightly smaller than the population of the Netherlands and roughly equal to the number of people worldwide who enjoy candy corn. Besides attracting such entertainment titans as the Rolling Stones, U2, Disney’s “On Ice” series, and the Harlem Globetrotters, the multifunction arena is also home to the AHL’s Albany Devils and college basketball’s Siena Saints.

  • Lemay Museum
Though the historical gems of a museum tend to be its artifacts, the vintage autos of the LeMay Family Collection at Marymount only tell half the story. The Marymount location opened in 1923 as a boys' military school, which became a center for English education in 1975 and eventually the home to the family's vintage automobiles. Beginning with a few vehicles gathered by Harold and Nancy LeMay in the 1960s, the collection has grown into a one-time Guinness World Record holder of more than 1,900 vehicles. Many of these classics, which range from Model Ts to muscle cars, rest fully restored alongside toys, antiques, and farm equipment within the year-round museum.

facet: Main type: Traditional locale: en_US title: The Pierce County Asylum facet_type_id: 1c482530-5f2d-1032-b4ff-7b43b128bd3f html_text: A typical haunted house is essentially a herding operation—albeit, yes, a particularly terrifying one. Guests walk through a narrow corridor and simply wait for unpleasant things to happen to them. At the 14,000 square foot haunted Pierce County Asylum, however, the scares are self-initiated and highly interactive. Once the barrier is broken, the characters will unleash their terror on groups of four to six, who must simultaneously fight their fears and attempt to solve the Asylum's demented puzzle.
