After witnessing violence in his home country of Iran, Master Ramin Emami, the head coach at The Powerhouse, moved to Japan, where he became a black belt in karate, then to Canada, where he worked his way up to 5th degree black belt. Now, he runs The Powerhouse, where he passes along his knowledge of self-defense and karate to children and adults alike.
