Opening a small business might seem like a big step for some people, but Ron Wimmer had seen enough in his life to take a risk. After traveling the world as a photojournalist for five years, Wimmer returned home and opened his first professional studio. He moved his family and studio to the Midwest in 1994, and he has since kept busy doing what he loves: capturing intimate moments from behind the camera. Today, Wimmer works both on location and in a Wauwatosa-based, 2500-square-foot studio, snapping photographs of individuals, groups, and families, among many other subjects.
Terri began her photographic education by studying all of its parts: the lens, the dials, the tiny man who opens and closes the shutter. Her hard work paid off, as she's now been telling stories with images for 40 years. As the force behind TAD Photography, Terri takes the time to get to know her clients, a step that better allows her to capture each subject's personality and narrative on location or in the studio. TAD Photography offers on site and studio shoots,
specializing in portrait photography, capturing images of families, bumps
and babies, seniors and pets.
The artists at Byron Graves Photography don't need to look far for inspiration: their 3,000-square-foot studio is located in the picturesque old village region of Wauwatosa. Inside, they arrange clients in front of a wide variety of backgrounds and set about capturing their unique look. But their talents aren't limited to the indoors. Upon request, the company dispatches its professionals to outdoor and on-location sessions, eliminating the hassle of transplanting your entire backyard to their studio.
Since 1967, Art's Cameras Plus has been a destination not only for cameras but also for photographic knowledge. The signature service is a unique way to share your engagement with family and friends. It tells the story of the couple in an original and artistic video. The engagement session consist of a photo-shoot and a video.
Besides making clients happy, what do you like most about your job?
Every picture that I take, and every video that I edit and give to the couple to enjoy, will be cherished for the rest of their lives. I am here to artistically capture who the bride and groom are. It is a beautiful responsibility that I embrace at each and every wedding.
Sometimes it's all about the little things in life. What supplemental courtesies do you include with your main services to leave clients with a smile on their face?
We help the couple style themselves for the session with useful tips, and provide all of our couples with magazine filled with inspired ideas to help them plan their wedding day.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Laetitia Patezour prides herself on capturing the little details that the bride is not able to enjoy or even notice on her wedding day. She is the eyes of the couple for the day, using a unique fashion photographer style for the portraits, a commercial photographer style for all the details, and a photojournalist photographer style for all the precious moments.
