Wine Tasting in and near Williamsburg, VA

This was a great Saturday afternoon date! Our host was knowledgeable and friendly... and the wines were delicious and perfect for the summer!!

The proprietors, Carl and Donna, are super knowledgeable, very personable, and present their attendees with a 1st class experience in an absolutely beautiful property. Their pairing selections are always superb. The best part of their classes, is that they do not limit the experience to ONLY their home grown wines, but introduce superior wines produced by other vintners discovered by their sommelier Andrew's extensive searches, as well. This was our 3rd class with them, and we will definitely be returning soon. My greatest concern, is that these classes will get so popular that there will be no room left for us! LOL

The owners are wonderful and made us feel very welcomed. The winery is small, a good place to spend time with close friends for a glass of wine and conversation. I personally enjoyed the Sunrise and Sunset wines and the ports. I was not a fan of any of the reds, which are usually my favorites.

Thomas is great. What a fascinating story and a family ran business. Great education and tasting. Highly recommended.
