Licensed aesthetician Nicole Lyons opened Seven Layer Skin to treat clients with private, one-on-one sessions to fortify and repair their skin. By appointment only, she restores the epidermis to its youthful vigor with facials, microdermabrasion treatments, and paraffin dips for the face and hands. Her chemical peels harness the power of lactic, glycolic, or salicylic acid to slough away dead skin cells and old Dukakis for President bumper stickers still plastered across foreheads. Nicole also performs specialty services including ear coning, eyelash and brow tinting. The only time she eschews one-on-one attention with her clients is when she plays host to spa parties, during which groups convene to snack on appetizers while lathering their faces in Bioelement products.
