Watersport specialists propel parasailers into sky during thrilling, powerboat-drawn tours of Miami's scenic coast

Parasailing is the only way to get close enough to a cloud to milk it or to visit your secret sky family. Bolster the bond earthly loved ones just don't understand with today's Groupon: for $49, you get a 12–15-minute tandem parasailing ride for two people from Aquaworld Miami (a $150 value).

The watersport specialists of Aquaworld Miami propel parasailers safely into the sky during thrilling, powerboat-drawn tours of Miami's scenic coast. Duos soar side by side during the 12–15-minute ride, during which passengers snag astonishing views of dolphins, manta rays, and young sea turtles awkwardly slow-dancing at land-themed proms. The ride takes a total of 45 minutes against the backdrop of Miami's metropolitan skyline, which beckons from the shore. Although it is possible to stay completely dry throughout parasail rides, guests should refrain from bringing anything that would get damaged by the ocean's spray, such as cell phones or papier mâché bathing suits. The boats can fit six people total, and for an additional charge (not included in this Groupon), the boatswain will record the excursion for posterity with a series of digital photos.

Our customers loved this deal last year, earning Aquaworld Miami a spot on Groupon's Best of 2011 list.

About Aquaworld Miami Beach

The Floridian sun sparkles off rolling waves, reflecting dancing patterns of light onto the white-and-red hull of Aquaworld Miami’s excursion vessel, the Caribbean Spirit . The double-masted catamaran catches the gulf’s gusty winds in its twin sails to journey to a shallow sandbar for a day of watersports, offloading jet skis, banana boats, and a parasailing-equipped speed boat into the knee-deep water. On Atlantic Ocean excursions, the 78-foot vessel parks over a shallow water shipwreck for guests equipped with snorkels to explore. The rhythmic thump of the waves combines with Calypso music that constantly drifts from the boat’s speakers, offering the only method of sonar capable of identifying an undersea dance party.
