This studio is amazing. It’s a quaint comfortable tranquil environment. The studio isn’t what provided the most impact it for me, it was the people…specifically the Instructor. Loved everything about how he led his students. My soul was fully recharged at the end.

Basic, Vinyasa & hatha-style classes for beginning & advanced students achieve studio’s mission to tap into each yogi’s potential.

Yoga challenges the mind and body without the violence and hurt feelings of full-contact chess. Steer clear of overaggressive pawns with this Groupon.

$25 for 10 Yoga Classes ($105 Value)

The studio’s schedule stratifies its many class styles by difficulty to ease new students into the practice. Basic yoga introduces them to standard postures at a slow pace, and beginners’ Vinyasa teachers demonstrate the foundational steps of the more vigorous practice, including such moves as the headstand and human flagpole. Hatha-style Jivamukti classes, meanwhile, are an iteration of the sport that gained prominence for its seamless coalescence of yoga’s physical, spiritual, and philosophical aspects. Regardless of a class’s style, the studio stays stoked at 80 degrees, and, much like small talk with a college cheerleader, all sessions begin and end with chanting.

About Atma Bodha Yoga Studio

The Sanskrit phrase, “Atma Bodha,” translates to “self-awakening.” Founder Avery Jones experienced his own "atma bodha" at the young age of 16 when he stumbled across a copy of the Bhagavad Gita while rifling through his father’s book collection. This spurred him to study the yogic philosophy, which shaped the rest of his life and eventually led him to open the Atma Bodha Yoga Studio years later.

Today, he and several other passionate instructors helm classes that span the style spectrum, ranging from open-level Vinyasa. Amid vibrant yellow walls and the glow of tranquil lighting, the team adapts routines to accommodate practitioners of any experience or fitness level. They not only work to strengthen the body, but they also aim to stimulate the mind—which is why they begin and end each visit chanting, and meditating.
