Twilight Reveille Sound Healing Concert
There’s much more to music than dancing, singing, and blocking out the chewing sounds of your cubicle mates. Like yoga for the ears, the perfect combinations of resonating tones can rejuvenate energy while gently jettisoning tension, giving listeners that rare feeling known as peace. During the Twilight Reveille Sound Healing Concert, neural oscillations hum in synchronicity to an orchestra of ancient instruments such as Tibetan gongs, quartz crystal bowls, and chiming bells, all of which help to bring balance to the body and mind. Less a typical concert than an aural mass mediation, the evening aims to rejuvenate the audience.
International Sound Therapy Association
Sound is physical and psychological. Its effects are based in science, yet it seems to hold mystical power. And when channeled correctly, the experts at the International Sound Therapy Association believe, the right combination of tones can lead listeners to a better life. Founded by Mandara Cromwell—2013 Nominee for the Thomas Edison Award for Innovation in the fields of Science and Medicine—and directed by visionary consultant Don Simmons, the ISTA dedicates itself wholly to increasing awareness of the therapeutic powers of sound. A team comprised of musicians, healing practitioners, and medical professionals share their unique wellness regimen through workshops and concerts, all while continuing to research this emerging field of study.
