Experienced bartenders are capable of pulling off elaborate liquor bottle tricks, like juggling them or slamming one against the bar to make a loud noise. Raise the bar with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $35 for five small plates and two cocktails for two (up to an $88 value)
  • $65 for ten small plates and four cocktails for four (up to a $176 value)

Guests receive their choice of cocktail (up a $14 value) paired with small plates (items up to a $12 value). The seasonal menu changes often, but past plates have included lollipop chicken drummettes with truffle natural jus, pork sliders, and a five-piece cheese and charcuterie platter.

Jbird Cocktails

Though the drink list at Jbird Cocktails is sorted into simple categories such as old-fashioned or sour, the cocktails themselves are anything but simple. Each libation is blended from a detailed recipe of artisanal ingredients—one of their more popular drinks, the Brush of the Bush, layers anejo tequila, reposado mezcal, sage-infused agave, cherry bark, and vanilla bitters over ice hand-cut from a free-range ice swan. Keeping in spirit with the spirits, a succinct food menu complements the libations with upscale small plates such as roasted bone marrow with sweet-and-sour cippolini, as well as full entrees of roasted duck breast with quince confiture. Whether sourcing ingredients for their drinks or their meals, Jbird’s staff works with local, organic farmers whenever they can.

The Groupon Guide to: Lunchboxes

Carrying lunch in a box is as handy now as it ever was. Here are some of the most popular designs adorning kids' lunchboxes this season:

  • Image of the toilet-paper bear visiting the laundry-detergent bear in the hospital

  • Sticker reading "My other lunchbox is a wet paper sack that broke open when I was running for the bus."

  • Photo of mom spreading jelly on one slice of bread and dad spreading peanut butter on the other (pre trial separation)

  • Hand-drawn Pikachu or a Furby or a Tamagotchi or maybe that’s a Spongepant?

  • Graphic stating "I voted (for a sandwich, an apple, chips, and a pudding)!"

  • Just an indentation in the shape of a fist

If you get really mad, is it OK to punch your lunch?
