The Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center's Butterflies and Birds! exhibit showcases a colorful company of butterflies that hail from regions across the world. Wander across stone walkways and up spiral staircases laced in winding vines to catch glimpses of colorful winged creatures, some of whom may even chance a brief landing on a shoulder or a hat shaped like a 24-hour nectar diner. Besides insects, the exhibit also grants close encounters with tropical birds in the aviary. The nearly 5,000-square-foot tropical garden, which is kept at a constant 80 degrees, fills the air with the heady scent of exotic flowers and leafy trees as visitors learn about the natural world through hands-on experiences.

Valid for Butterflies & Birds admission only; admission to the Aquarium, special exhibits and programs are not included with this voucher. Prices of regular admission vary by age. Children under the age of 2 are admitted free.
