Choose Between Two Options

Mario Andretti's professional racing instructors at Chicagoland Speedway pilot guests around the track in a two-seat Indy car during a ride-along experience, or prep patrons for driving with a drivers meeting led by the crew chief. After completing personal driving instruction, students are turned loose for the Race Fan Favorite's five-minute solo-driving session, which includes in-car radio communications. Mario Andretti Racing Experience lets patrons channel their inner speed demon with both ride-along and driving experiences in a real open-wheel racecar or two-seat Indy car.

During ride-alongs, jump into a two-seat car next to a professional racing instructor and take off down pit row before bursting onto the open track, where the car can reach speeds up to 180 mph. Driving experiences give you control of the wheel and the gas pedal after an instructional video and safety training. Unlike other racing experiences, there’s no lead car to follow and no cows crossing the road, allowing you to drive as fast as you like. You can even pass slower drivers as your personal racing instructor helps you safely navigate the track from the other side of a two-way car radio.
