$89 for a 2012 Golf-Course Membership (Up to $1,270 Value)

Leisurely saunters around the green are permitted during the week, but power golf-cart rental ($16.50 per person, not included with membership) is required on weekends for speedier games and more interesting caddy races. Two half-hour lessons (a $150 value) will further hone your skills as seasoned linksmen teach you how to swing like a pro, avoid sand traps, and how many strokes it takes to summon Humphrey Bogart’s ghost on the seventh green.

About Sugar Creek Golf Course

Sugar Creek Golf Course, under new management and ownership, features 18 picturesque holes to challenge all levels of golfers with yards of manicured fairways and carpet-like greens. Players launch shots from one of four tee boxes per hole and continue to thwack their dimpled orbs around the course in an effort to challenge the par 70 layout or crack open their golf ball to discover its nougat center. Guests needing to warm up their swings can do so on the course’s driving range.
