PGA professional works on developing reliable swings during private lessons, junior lessons, or ladies' beginner lessons

The Fine Print

  • Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as a gift. Valid only for option purchased. Must sign waiver. Classes must be used by the same person. Valid at the indoor or outdoor facility.

Without an instructor's outside opinion, golfers would never know about the hitch in their swing or the thousands of centipedes writhing on their backs. See things differently with this Groupon.

Choose from Three Options

  • $40 for a one-hour individual advanced lesson with video swing analysis (a $90 value)
  • $74 for three ladies' beginner lessons with two months of supervised practice (a $150 value)
  • $50 for two junior beginner lessons with one on-course lesson (a $150 value)

Expert golfer Chris Scott, who has been a PGA professional for more than a decade, meets one-on-one for an hour with a golfer to help refine his or her technique, employing video analysis to give detailed, personalized feedback. This deal also includes two sessions of supervised practice time.

Alternatively, during six weekly sessions, up to half a dozen women gather for 45-minute lessons in golf basics, learning to develop a reliable swing from Chris. Clinic sessions will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, either indoors or outdoors. During two months of supervised practice, the player can show up and have a PGA professional give feedback on swing mechanics.

The junior lesson package includes two private lessons that cover full-swing techniques and short-game skills, as well as an on-course lesson with a PGA professional that teaches young players course strategy and etiquette.

The Falls Golf Club

At The Falls Golf Club, lush bermuda grass blankets challenging fairways populated by more than 200 mature trees, saved or relocated onto the course, as well as miniature lakes and fairway-splitting creeks. The doglegs and sand traps were designed by Ed Schultz, Terry Houser, and Bob Saur. Poorly aimed balls splash into placid water or tumble over the course’s half-dozen waterfalls, and the slopes of two-tiered greens can send them rolling away from pins. The course’s PGA professionals await players hoping to perfect form or get scores lower than an SAT completed in invisible ink.

Adjacent to the championship course, the 20-acre recreation center invites golfers to warm up at a driving range with a buffet of practice options such as bermuda-grass tees, artificial mats, and a 6,000-square-foot putting green. Nearby, an 18-hole miniature golf course beckons putting enthusiasts, and the pitching machines in seven batting cages launch baseballs and softballs with precision in the hopes of one day pitching for the Yankees.

Course at a Glance:

  • 18-hole, par 71 course
  • Length of 6,510 yards
  • Course rating of 71.0
  • Slope rating of 126

The Groupon Guide to: Kindness

The universality of the human experience serves as the connective tissue between all the people, making us truly brothers and sisters in the experiment called life. Here’s how to not mess it up for everyone by being a dingus:

  • Push superhard on revolving doors to treat your fellow passengers to a spontaneous merry-go-round ride.
  • Collect the old video games you don’t play anymore and leave them in a basket on the doorstep of a church.
  • Never eat the last slice of pizza; make two people compete for it.
  • If you see a house on fire, run in to save people regardless of your level of fire-safety training.
  • Adopt a pet! It can be someone else’s pet if you’re like 90% sure you’ll do a better job.

How can you make the world a better place without having to work very hard?
