Inside West Loop Health & Sports Performance Center, Yoga Bent's registered yoga instructors—Miguel Latronica and Etty Hasak—guide their students through innovative classes that incorporate Miguel’s patented Mighty Body Body Band stretching and strengthening device. The Latronica Method is largely based on the PNF principles. It employs his inventive system of ropes, bungee cords, and slings to support and stabilize students as they work though seven forms of flexibility- and strength-building exercises. The classes enable students to borrow props and sink into or build stability. Additionally, all MBB yoga poses are designed to increase one’s range of motion by loosening connective tissues that, like the budgets of toddlers, are difficult to stretch.
