These exercises include jumping, climbing, lifting barbells, sprinting, squatting, and throwing heavy objects. In essence, the workouts mimic and intensify the movements that people naturally perform in sports or while disagreeing with their boss. Although coaches do offer special sessions for newcomers, which explain how to safely and effectively perform the required exercises, CrossFit workouts are intended to be accessible for guests of virtually any age and fitness level. The main requirement is self-motivation; however, coaches and fellow classmates all work together to create a supportive community that encourages everyone involved to do one more rep.

Today, she works alongside a team of passionate teachers to put her training into action during small group classes that, unlike boot camps designed for lackadaisical tomato plants, encourage students to grow at their own pace.
