Since Rudford's stays open 24/7, its large oval windows always show a similar scene: red backed booths and a sleek metal counter, where diners young and old devour the diner's most popular dishes. These include chicken fried steak or biscuits, both of which come topped in white gravy.
If the cheeky waitstaff doesn’t capture the attention of little ones—Forbes notes that they “jokingly throw straws at the children”—the antique cars and video arcades surely will. The kids’ menu hews to staples such as hot dogs and spaghetti, but there’s much more to do than eat here.

Cheese Shop has been spotted on all seven continents, gracing locales along the Great Wall of China, beside the Pasteur Institute in Paris, and amid the crags of Glacier National Park.
