Petra’s street-food-inspired menu is filled with salsas, tacos, seafood, and salads. And though these freshly made dishes may seem simple, they burst with the bold flavors of serrano and guajillo chilies, citrus, beer batter, and Mexican spices.
Guests enjoy made-from-scratch dishes and frosty cervezas or margaritas while perched on the green and orange chairs on the breezy outdoor patio. Housemade churros at the end of a meal encourage sword fights, and when they’re gone, lots of finger licking.
When not playing host to local diners, the Petra opens its doors to nonprofits and schools that are in need of a space to hold their fundraisers and events.
Led by pillar of the Plano community Fortino Trujillo, the quick-handed team at Tino's Too simmers and sizzles a menu of hand-rolled enchiladas, all-day weekend breakfast, and menudo and caldo every day. The Tino's Special ($10.25) leaves no cornerstone of quick Mexican cuisine unturned with a beef enchilada, deluxe taco, tamale, and a host of fixings, whereas the chimichanga's deep-fried flour tortilla bursts with beef or chicken topped with sour cream and veggies ($8.10). Tender chicken works together with onions and peppers to provide a protective layer between eager tongues and the sizzling skillet that hosts the fajitas ($12.25).
Mi Chula’s modern, upscale dining environment and friendly service creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for quick business lunches, family dinners or relaxing with friends on the patio.
Using only the freshest ingredients available the Mi Chula’s culinary team creates authentic, hand crafted and innovative dishes.
No matter the fitness level or experience of their charges, the coaches of North Dallas CrossFit ask only that they give their all. Some of that comes from owner Darrell Taylor, an active triathelete, marathoner, and CrossFit coach. The crew of seven trainers have a combined 18 years of experience in CrossFit. With the CrossFit system, workouts scale to individual abilities, ensuring everyone completes their routines and stays the course. Through a varied cross-training regimen, the instructors employ functional-movement exercises that ready classes for all physical activities and work all muscles for complete fitness. To promote ideal health, they also recommend a diet of greens, lean meat, nuts, and seeds while leaving out starch as much as possible and eliminating sugar. North Dallas CrossFit's corporate wellness and yoga program also helps incorporate physical fitness into the office, where many people spend a large portion of their week, and bolster morale as well.
