About Cowboy Cafe

Though it's situated in Virginia, the Cowboy Cafe has the heart of the Wild, Wild West. There, guests sit down to meals such as "The Rancher"—a 7oz. filet mignon topped with creamy mushroom sauce and served with mashed potatoes. Cowboys-at-heart can take on the aptly named Cowboy Burger, which is topped with ham, jack cheese, and a smothering of BBQ sauce. On certain days, customers can even find a country-style brunch waiting for them, which can include cowboy hashes, steak and eggs, and huevos rancheros. The cafe even keeps its lively saloon atmosphere going with live music on the weekends, often featuring local talent and foot-stomping jams.

Small location very limited parking. Atmosphere was small, not impressive. The food was alright but filet mignon more expensive than advertised. Still it was very tasty, a bargain. Mashed potatoes excellent. Soda was terrible tasted watered down but I don't think that this is something that happens every day. The service was exceptional, waiter made up for any shortcomings. I'd give it an 8.5!!!
