I was told on the phone the rink was open until 8pm. When we got there a sign said you could dismiss skaters 15 min early. Which is what happened. Say it the way it should be on the phone. Also, I missed the dead line for the Groupon coupon--so I had to pay full price. Not impressed.

Bring the kids' friends with. The more, the merrier. Put the little ones in roller skates, not blades, and they learn without the aid of a walker. Bring change for the games.

It's a good basic skating rink. No A/C in summer, be aware...

We are seniors and went on Sat am while many bday parties were being held. Lots of fun! Staff very helpful and friendly. We want to go again.

We had two adults and two kids, three of us had never skated before. They had wheeled guides in three heights you could rent for $5 and everyone was very cautious around the newbies! Great time had by all!

Note to self: Tie your skates really tight, so you don't get blisters on your feet.

From Our Editors

Since 1970, Skateville Family Rollerskating Center has facilitated friction-free entertainment on a classic indoor wooden rink. Multicolored lights tumble from retro fixtures high above the skating surface, swathing skaters in incandescent hues and mirages of Mardi Gras beads. In addition to hosting guests during open-skate hours, the family-owned roller arena gathers classes and groups together for field trips and fundraisers. The snack bar's hot dogs and soft drinks keep skaters energized, and an onsite arcade keeps hands from whining about all of the foot-centric entertainment.
