Mitazi Nail Salon, Chicago

Not only was the owner rude, the waxing room was not very clean or nice. While I was on the table, the waxer (maybe owner) left numerous times and left the door open. One of these times she came back while on the phone (what!) talking to an employee who didn't want to come into work. I felt so unwelcome, uncomfortable and just overall gross. When I pulled my Groupon up to use it, it shown up as already used (an error on Groupon's behalf due to trying to schedule the appointment through the app...all was fixed by amazing customer service.) HOWEVER - the owner lady who waxed me, while on the phone with the door open, immediately accused me of lying and walked away after chastising me in front of the other guests and employees. What a mess of a "salon". I will never go back. I think she may have even double dipped the waxing stick...which grosses me out to think about it too much.

This place is really nice, the girl that help me was super nice and sweet. She did an amazing job overall, I was a little thrown off by the receptionist though, she was kinda standoffish.

Gosia was the best!!! It was a painless experience and she makes you feel like you've been going to her for years! I think I found my girl!
