While the accommodations are very modest, it is the best Persian cuisine I have had anywhere in the bay area! It was a surprise but I will definitely go back.

I had the fava bean rice with baked chicken, shared a delicious salad with husband, and had the best baklava ever! Their yogurt was fabulous. We will definitely return. Rose K

Our dinner was wonderful! We started with babaganush, which I probably misspelled, but was amazing! The kabobs were perfect (tender, moist): served with saffron rice and grilled tomatoes. We followed it with tea and dessert. The service was excellent! It was not crowded, either. Although it should be, It's one of the best dining experienced in the area.

Food is tasty. i visited on a Sunday night & it seems like under staffed. There was only one lady who was taking care of everything. It's also little pricy.

From Our Editors

As chefs crown steamed basmati rice with golden threads of saffron and sear meat-laden kebabs over an open fire, the restaurant's dining room fills with the unmistakable aromas of Persian cuisine. Skewers of seasoned ground beef, jumbo prawns, and lamb chops roast above the flickering flames and smoldering logs of petrified wood, and the dessert selection balances the menu's savory entrees with rose-water-flavored ice cream with pistachios.

The sandstone-hued walls brim with Persian-influenced crafts and artwork, including paintings in circular wooden frames and earthen pottery. Although sconces illuminate most of the space, a crystal chandelier lights the patch of hardwood flooring in the center of the room, which functions as a stage for the belly dancers who entertain diners with their undulating routines on Friday and Saturday evenings.
