During the first workout, both my wife and I were very specific with the instructor that we were "couch to Crossfit" though neither of us were sedentary or fully out of shape. We were hoping functional fitness would be a good way to introduce ourselves to Crossfit.
After the first 30 minute workout, our legs were butchered to the point that we could not take stairs for 5 days. We had to crawl up stairs at home and I had to take the elevator at work. We never went back so 2 Groupons wasted.
Since, I have joined a different workout facility, work out 4x/week with no pain and have lost 20 lbs in 10 weeks. Crossfit was clearly not for us and I don't think the instructor did a good job of tailoring our workout to our fitness level, even though we were the only attendees in the class that day and there was ample opportunity for individual attention.

I've taken only 1 boot camp class at this time, yesterday, and today I can not move! Looking forward to my next workout but wondering to myself, how in the heck will I ever make it. The instructor was great, he pushed me but did not break me!
