Not a great experience. Extremely long lines, no cups for the wine tasting events. Not worth the money!

I have to say, I have never been to a more disorganized and disappointing event. I believe the change of location, as well as the overabundance of tickets sold, made this event, one of the worse I have ever attended. I would be reluctant to ever chose another groupon for this kind of venue. I brought 2 people, and we left with one glass of wine, and no food. The lines were ridiculous, and few of the vendors listed, were present. I think this event was misrepresented, and I would like 2 credits, since this was a disaster. I am not sure, I will continue with groupon, if I do not receive a reply and compensation. Thankyou for your time. Margie Aronson

I sent the following email to your support team as well as to the Flavor of Broward: A group of friends and I went to this event on Friday. We were all looking forward to it. Initially the even was to be held in Wilton Manors. The location then changed to Fort Lauderdale and yet another change to Miramar. I found out about the change of location to Miramar through a friend who purchased her ticket through Travelzoo. I didn’t receive anything from Groupon. Another friend called Groupon and they were unaware of the change of location. Groupon went to your website to confirm and then sent out another notification. We have been to numerous food and wine event and I’m sad to say this is by far the most disappointing of them all. There was one small tent with a few restaurants serving very minimal portions from what I could see. We never were able to taste any of the food at the event because the lines were tremendous and there was just too much confusion and was completely unorganized in general. We asked event staff who was uninformed of what was going on as well. We all left the event to go to dinner because we were not able to eat anything. The samples of wine were poured in tiny plastic cups and was maybe a sip each. The same wine was at multiple tables so it wasn’t like there was an actual sampling of different wines. I never do this, but I am requesting a refund due to the fact that I had to drive a distance that I was not expecting to drive because of the change of location as well as the fact that what was promised on the site was not factual. It was horrible. There were so many people there. The lines were so long that we had to wait 5-10 minutes for tasting of wine, and the lines for the food was so long that we had to wait over 20 minutes just to try something. I spent $80 on this event for my husband and I to attend and we left, because we were hungry and didn't want to wait in the lines. It was so not classy. We want our money back.
