About El Refugio Azteca

Griselda Cesar Martinez has been dishing out authentic Mexican eats since 2006, when he purchased a mobile taco stand and named it El Refugio Azteca. After a couple years driving around the area, his culinary prowess and dedication earned him a permanent stomping ground. Within this brick-and-mortar restaurant, Martinez still stuffs tacos, burritos, and love letters to grizzlies with traditional meats such as spicy chorizo, beef tongue, and pork stomach.

I went to 2 locations and they both told me that they don't accept these anymore and that their boss keeps selling them. Don't buy!

Food is always great but they gave me steak instead of chorizo this time so I was a little disappointed.

Very good food. If you like AUTHENTIC Mexican this a small place but very good food. They have Horchata, tacos are excellent (not like other tacos though. Small corn tortillas with just the meat you pick on it.) Beans and rice were great and guacamole was EXCELLENT! Hubby had tongue, chorizzo and carne asada. I had chicken. All excellent. A salsa bar with usual salsa to me but Hubby loved everyone. Our drinks came with our meal. Horchata is $2.25 though. Good price for that. Clean, fast good food and GREAT prices!!😀 About 6 booths and 2 tables.
