What You'll Get
Hockey players are like children: they are often missing teeth, are placed in a timeout box when they get into a fight, and their legs can be rubbed for good luck. Give yourself the luck of a child with today's Groupon: for $13, you get a blue-zone center-ice ticket, four Chuck-A-Pucks, and a program to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders hockey game on Wednesday, April 6 at 7:05 p.m. (up to a $22 value). The RoughRiders take on the Youngstown Phantoms.
A common sight in the USHL playoff bracket with 10 consecutive winning seasons, the RoughRiders have lit up the scoreboards and harassed the opposition in furious Junior League hockey. RoughRiders' roster of hotshot scorers and puck-stopping net blockers, including 8th-ranked league scoring leader Jayson Megna and 4th-ranked league goalie leader Brady Hjelle, look to overcome the ethereal Phantoms and add another victory to the RoughRiders' season. The Stable's center-ice seats put puck junkies front and center to the sport's exhilarating blur of lightning passes, smoke-trailed slap shots, and Plexiglass–rattling body checks. During period breaks, toss your clutch of Chuck-A-Pucks onto the ice's target zones, and you'll win prizes.

About Cedar Rapids RoughRiders
Despite being a relatively young organization, the RoughRiders have done an impressive job of filling up their trophy case. The team officially moved from Mason City to Cedar Rapids in 1999, leaving behind their Huskies moniker in the process. It’s been one accomplishment after another ever since. In 2005, the RoughRiders claimed their first Clark Cup as champions of the USHL. That same season, they brought home the Anderson Cup, too, for posting the league’s best record during the regular season—a feat they repeated in 2011. RoughRiders fans have witnessed much of this success at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. Known affectionately as The Stable for its rowdy, but family friendly atmosphere, the arena echoes with clanging cowbells on game days to celebrate goals and drive away feral Zambonis lurking outside the building.
