Training dogs is a time-honored tradition, from the shepherd breeds that respond to whistles to the army’s ill-fated experiment with nurse dogs that would only stand next to a doctor when told to heal. Train your pooch’s talents with this Groupon.
$89 for a Six-Week Group Training Class for Dogs ($195 Value)
Owners join their pups for small group classes, most of which are led by both a senior- and junior-level trainer to ensure plenty of one-on-one attention for each interspecies pair. The organization’s 10 locations offer up to 30 classes per week, and each class takes place one hour per week for six weeks. Class subjects range from basic puppy socialization to honing a dog’s scent detector in order to teach creative problem-solving or open up a career as a sommelier.
Carol Kuhn, the trainer for the class my dog and I were enrolled into, is simply awesome. She is great at her job, cares for the dogs in her class and make the class absolutely fun. And after each class session she follows up through an email providing feedback on what to work on with your dog for that week. I definitely recommend AnimalSense and especially Carol to those interested in enrolling their dogs in quality training classes.
