In an Astoria filled to the brim with Mediterranean restaurants, Dionysos stands out thanks to its traditional, beautiful selection of Greek and Cypriot recipes. There are plenty of meze, or small plates, to choose from, including shrimp santorini sautéed in feta and ouzo, as well as koupes, a traditional Cypriot pork dumpling. And, there are plenty of vegetarian options, though carnivores might consider sampling less common meats such as rooster and rabbit.
