About Escape the Room

If you've ever wanted to be trapped in a room with Tina Fey, Kendall Jenner, and Questlove, Escape the Room won't be able to make your dream come true. It can, however, give you a similar experience those stars had while being trapped in a room—they all played (and immensely enjoyed) the studio's room escape games. The interactive outings aren't easy, though. Of the three celebrities mentioned above, only Tina Fey was on a winning team.

In other words, these games stretch your brain to its limits. Developed by a team of professionals ranging from theme park engineers to puzzle designers, each game traps participants inside a locked room. Sometimes players are assigned the persona of underground explorers, sometimes they're told to be spies. Regardless of their imaginary roles, groups must find hidden treasures, interpret clues, and solve puzzles to get out before the clock runs out. Beware, though: teams that take more than an hour must pose with 'Loser" signs in the foyer (luckily, Questlove made it sort of cool to do that).
