What You'll Get
Within a restaurant, diners should feel just at home enough to clean their plates, but not so at home that they show up to the table without pants on. Enjoy an appropriately familiar atmosphere with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of comfort food at Rick & Brian's Cafe in Long Beach.
Rick & Brian's Cafe cocoons rapt stomach vessels in a warm, down-home eatery as seasoned servers parade dishes of comfort food and homemade pie into awaiting mouths. Capture the savory flavor of Mel's meatloaf ($9.75) behind tooth fences, or tongue-trek through pastures of spaghetti, alive with gurgling streams of marinara sauce ($8.45), great for twirling a fork through or washing your face in. Savory tones surge from a choir of cheddar cheese and grilled onions stacked upon the revamped menu's san franciscan burger ($7.95), harmonizing flawlessly with the dulcet mouth-melodies of the fresh fruit salad ($8.55).
Bratwurst and schnitzel lure cuisine-paparazzi to weekly German nights, and Rick and Brian's Cafe's owners frequently snag recurring roles in local fundraisers and claymation telenovelas.

About Rick and Brian's Cafe
Many of the dishes served at Rick and Brian's Cafe have been taking up menu real estate since the diner opened 30 years ago. This comfort food puts customers at ease, as does some of their veteran staff who have been around since the diner's opening, offering a comforting continuity for guests stopping in for their daily coffee, chicken-fried steak, and slow-cooked pot roast. Like any good diner or restaurant without a clock, the cafe serves breakfast all day long alongside BLTs, burgers, meatloaf, and cobb salads. Staff members also bake up retro desserts such as pineapple upside down cake, orange liqueur cheesecake made with Grand Marnier, and bundt cakes with vodka and Kahlua baked inside.
