This package includes admission to The Jenney Museum, which features rotating exhibits that tell the Pilgrim story of agriculture, industry, free trade, and economics. The museum traces Plymouth’s history back to the Pilgrims’ arrival.

The Plymouth walking tour pays homage to the Pilgrims with a visit to Plymouth Rock, the waterfront park at Brewster Gardens, and the 17th-century memorials at Cole’s Hill and Town Square. Tourists soak up Plymouth’s history via a narrative delivered by celebrated guide, Leo Martin, who narrates the tour dressed in period clothing.

The Jenney Museum

On the quaint corner of Spring Lane and Summer Street, The Jenney Museum sits as a historic bastion of tradition and treasures. Built in 1749, the house invites guests to wander through its two exhibit rooms and gift shop. Today, The Jenney Museum remains dedicated to preserving Plymouth's Pilgrim history and integrating it into the present day. Its location near the picturesque Town Brook beckons spring-time visitors to watch thousands of river herring migrate up the waters–a must-see stop before venturing on The Jenney Museum's historic walking tour led by historian and guide, Leo Martin. During each trek, Martin cants tales including the relationship between the Pilgrims and natives, recalling their struggles, survivals, and faith that laid the foundation of our country and created future memories of Thanksgiving dinners.

Customer Reviews

Great tour with Leo. Highly recommend.

The Pilgrim walking tour was outstanding. Leo is an engaging guide; his narration made the historic sites so much more interesting than just looking at them all ourselves. Definitely worth the time and money. Even my 11 and 13 year olds enjoyed it!

This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience! Well worth the price. Leo is very passionate about the history of Plymouth (or Plimouth). The walking tour guided and entertainingly narrated by Leo goes rain or shine so be sure to ask to borrow an umbrella from Nancy at the museum if the weather isn't cooperating. Also, be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes for the tour.
