Mike was very helpful! Mike was very helpful at the parking lot! I had to leave outside the normal parking attendant hours and he always made sure I was able to get my car early in the morning or late at night. The rest of the staff at the hotel were all very helpful as well!

It was bad "I felt disrespected at the valet parking lot due to the valet attendant's poor communication. When I asked why my car keys were being kept and whether I had the option to keep them, he responded rudely, questioning if I even knew what a valet was. He became increasingly dismissive, ignored my question, and escalated the situation by asking where I was from, calling over another man, and laughing at me. His behavior was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. When I tried to address the issue, he repeatedly told my brother to take the keys and park the car, dismissing me rudely instead of addressing my concerns. This led me to seek help from the front desk staff, who were very helpful and generous, offering us parking compensation for the incident. While the attendant’s behavior was unacceptable, the front desk staff handled the situation with kindness and generosity, defusing the tension. I hope that in the future, communication can be improved to prevent similar incidents."

Not bad, not great. Location is central and allows you to walk anywhere downtown. Staff was kind and efficient, although I had very little interaction with them. Rooms are outdated. The outlet on bedside table (most important one!) was broken, leaving my family (and their dozens of devices) to go hunting for others on far away walls. Lots of little annoyances like that. eg. no drinking glasses in bathrooms: you have to unwrap the paper coffee cups to brush your teeth or take a pill with tap water. Perhaps little things too much to expect from such a middle-of-the-road hotel. Then again, for $300 (once you add in all the taxes and fees and parking), is it really? Mandatory valet parking ($18) is annoying but breakfast buffet is good.

Sedik Saved the Day UPDATE: Sedik (front desk guy) was awesome! He stayed calm. Got it done. Help to make my stay from a 2 star a 5 star! Thank you _ UPDATE: Gym is awesome! Full weights! Peloton if that’s your jam. Initial ALERT: Do not* use Vio.com. No customer service number. There was no reservation at hotel, despite that I paid no already. Took 1/2 hour on live chat to get my ticket. Plus. Plus. Plus. Calls.

Solid stay The room was clean and well appropriated. Bed was comfy. Staff was nice and very good. Breakfast was a very good meal to start off the day. I hated the valet parking but for the most part was pretty easy in and out - they always wanted to know if I was in for the night. Good walk to the capital.
