Beyond Awful - do better Wyndham This was possibly the worst hotel experience we have had in all of our traveling, and unfortunately, it came at the expense of my kids move in day at Purdue University. All levels of customer service failed to provide any actual service. Starting at the outside doors of the hotel there is an incredible smell that can be best described as “stale cigarettes rolled in fabric softener and air freshener” and two other families we didn’t know were having the same reaction of disgust walking in. That same horrible smell circulates in the halls and the rooms - embedded in bedding. The A/C didn’t cool properly, the toilet seat was not stable on the floor and rocked like a boat when you got on and off, and outlets did not work properly. When we immediately went to the front desk and asked to be moved, we were told the following: the hotel is full and rooms are preassigned, there is no maintenance person to fix any issues, there is no manager on duty to speak to - even though a sign had a name listed and said otherwise, and when I asked the front desk clerk her name, she told me she doesn’t tell guests her name for “safety reasons”. She gave every response with a shoulder shrug and zero concern - offering nothing to make the room issue or my guest experience any different. Back up in the room I called the 1-800 number, voiced my concerns, and after several minutes was directed to another number, voiced my concerns, ONLY TO BE TOLD, you’ll hear from someone via email in about a week about your concerns. BUT I COULD go to the front desk of the hotel and ask her for further assistance. I explained that she was part of the problem not my solution. Absolutely unbelievable. Absolutely unacceptable. Not to mention, this night cost my family $400, as the hotels raised their prices during college move in week. I wouldn’t let my dog stay here.

Never again! Absolutely rudest front desk lady at check in. Hotel is newer but I would never stay again. Horrible experience.

Diamond of a find! My Husband and I were attempting to divert our Travels around Indianapolis Due to the Holiday week end and the big car race. Looking at the map we discovered the route with a stop in Purdue Area that coincided with the amount of time we wanted that day on the road. The Baymont more than met our needs and the surrounding area looked so beautiful! Our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet AND CLEAN! Breakfast was good and in both quality and selections. We will definitely consider staying here again if our travels take us in this direction. There are plenty of Restaurants within walking distance. This was a very enjoyable stay!

OK for quick overnight stay! Stayed one night! Nothing fancy but was only looking for a place for the night. Surprised that most of the hotel allowed smoking! Breakfast was just ok! Bisquit's good but Country Gravy was watered down! Good choices of juices and cereal! TV in room was hard to figure out where certain channels were! Pillows were ok but I've had better! Carpeting in room had some kind of red streak (almost like blood).

Nice stay Great stay. No issues to report. Clean and quiet. Breakfast was nice and had hot and cold foods. No complaints.
