Nice Hotel for the Money I stayed at the hotel over the 4th of July weekend. It’s nice, employees are friendly. The property and rooms are very clean. The rooms have a kitchenette with a dishwasher and everything. Helpful hint: run all the dishes and stuff through the dishwasher before you use it. You never know. The hotel has good breakfast buffet with hot food, fruit, waffles, etc. I had a nice stay.

It was great! This hotel has come a long way. They have done so many renovations and the pool area looks amazing in the evening hours. They have free laundry for the guest and the social hour is awesome. The rooms are bigger than a lot of other hotels I’ve stayed at and the housekeepers are so friendly. I recommend you give them a try. Will be back.

No, no We stayed here on business about 4 years ago but now run down. Has changed and not for the better. This is a run down, not kept up hotel. Everything is overused and torn, there is something on top of the window, I will show in a picture. Just move on to another hotel.

Not without it's flaws (stained ceiling tiles on main floor), but I loved our quiet weeklong stay here. Good value! We had a room overlooking the road and stadium, so I'm sure at some point it could have been noisy, but we were out and about in San Angelo most days so the traffic didn't disturb us. At night, it was lovely to see the stars out of the window. The room was large and comfortable, with one wall taken up by the kitchen (full-sized fridge, microwave, sink and dishwasher). We had a king-sized bed, a real closet, and the bathroom had a tub which I love. You had to hold down the handle of the toilet to make the water go down (other wise it would just run), but we figured it out. The living room was a great size, and my daugher (who had just moved into the AFB) came to visit frequently and we did not feel crowded in there. I had to turn the TV all the time, between when I was watching in the "living room" or in bed, but it was not a huge inconvenience. The maids and front desk staff were nice, and parking was convenient. We just parked out front. It was also near a great restaurant (Cork and Pig) and the laundry was free, although I had to pay for the laundry soap in the hotel shop. Seems very popular with AF people. When we finally got the bill for our long stay, I was surprised how inexpensive it all was. Free breakfast even includes a waffle maker in the shape of TX! So cool. Lots of foods to choose from. Like I said, only concern was the water-stained ceiling tiles on the main floor ceiling. We had no trouble with odd smells (like there was mold) or anything else. Great visit.
