Phoenix Museums

Phoenix museums have a rich history of celebrating culture, knowledge, and the arts. The Phoenix Art Museum boasts a collection of more than 18,000 works and regularly organizes community events. Viewing paintings and contemplating sculptures at the largest art museum in the Southwest aren’t the only things to do in Phoenix, though. The Arizona Science Center and Challenger Space Center use hands-on activities and immersive exhibits to stoke passions for discovery and exploration. And at the Heard Museum, visitors can learn about the rich cultural legacies of Arizona’s Native American tribes.

Fun for the littles. The child VIP access lets kids excavate a dino, search for a dino skeleton in a box of rocks then they get some clay to put on the skeleton. They have a small arcade and gift shop. That is extra. We spent 45 minutes there.

I took my granddaughter and my 6 year old great grandson to Hall of Flames and he absolutely loved it. I loved it as did my granddaughter but my great grandson loved it even more than we did. We had to coax him out when it was time to leave. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and made our visit even more enjoyable.
