Phoenix Museums

Phoenix museums have a rich history of celebrating culture, knowledge, and the arts. The Phoenix Art Museum boasts a collection of more than 18,000 works and regularly organizes community events. Viewing paintings and contemplating sculptures at the largest art museum in the Southwest aren’t the only things to do in Phoenix, though. The Arizona Science Center and Challenger Space Center use hands-on activities and immersive exhibits to stoke passions for discovery and exploration. And at the Heard Museum, visitors can learn about the rich cultural legacies of Arizona’s Native American tribes.

This was a great experience. Learned a lot about Arizona history and the Lost Dutchman’s Gold. Apacheland was fun to walk around and the sarsaparilla was delicious.
