The phrase “Cincinnati pizza” has been synonymous with the LaRosa's menu ever since a guy named Buddy opened up shop on the west side of the city more than 60 years ago. Today, Buddy LaRosa’s legacy lives on through more than 40 Italian menu items, firmly placing each LaRosa's Pizzeria location among the best restaurants in Cincinnati. However, LaRosa's hardly has a pizza monopoly when it comes to Cincinnati restaurants. Just two decades after Buddy’s first pie, a team of brothers opened up their own eponymous restaurant: Grammas Pizza. The landscape continues to change to this day. For proof, just look to Mason’s Pitrelli's, which won Cincinnati Magazine’s “Pizza Madness” competition in 2015.
