So, after buying the Groupon I was told it would be extra if there were stains. Not a great start, its quite litterally WHY I needed the carpets cleaned. The guy shows up, he has a steamer, asks if I have hot water, it was an office with no hot water source, then he informs me again that it will be an extra charge for pre-treatment for stains and stain treatment. It was only $49 dollars, not really a big deal actually, worth it, and in the end the carpets looked pretty good! Not perfect, but good enough. Frankly, I believe the sort of deceptive marketing is not as much the fault of the company as much as the horrible deals that Groupon cuts with small businesses. Lets stay you have a service you sell for $190, by the time all is said and done the business will only get $112 dollars, but they still have to pay labor, fuel, chemicals, insurance and more. Groupon will litterally tell you to upsell to make up the difference. So while it was quite annoying, and now you know what to expect BEFORE you buy the voucher...the guy was friendly, quick, and did a decent job.
