What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Real Brave's amazing scheduling system that offers flexibility in rescheduling is the one thing that stands out the most. Of course hosting 2 incredible concerts each year, recordings of performances and a priceless mentorship that lasts a lifetime to boot- Real Brave is the best studio in Queens.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
We offer lessons in all instruments with caring, engaging instructors. If you're playing piano- no need to lug one on your back to the studio! We have wonderful Yamaha P2 uprights here. For every other instrument, yup, bring your own. Don't have? We can help you rent or own anything you need!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Real Brave was created because of the need to have a fun and engaging music experience for everyone; to introduce students to teachers that are people first, musicians second. It was created to ignite a new passion in music for this and every generation that no one has ever offered before.
What do you love most about your job?
Every day we get to inspire children and adults and motivate them on to this journey that is learning how to play an instrument. It's the most rewarding and satisfying thing to watch from afar and we are proud to be a part of their lives, their families and in the fabric of their memories.
Like any good party-planning operation, Blu Midnight Event Productions helps weddings and large events run smoothly by collaborating with vendors and ensuring things run on time. But unlike the others, Blu Midnight makes events even more special with free uplighting, pin-spot lighting, and centerpiece design, helping clients save hundreds of dollars. Its coordinators are always available for in-person or call-in consultations, and they take care of every detail in the planning process, including bridal showers and bachelor/bachelorette parties for brides and grooms.
Revelation Photography’s location is always changing. That's because owner and photographer Nicole Mondestin keeps her studio entirely mobile. She hauls portable lighting and backgrounds to all sorts of locations, shooting photo sessions both indoors and outside. Depending on her clients' wishes, she might capture moments at parks or in front of a living-room fireplace. She also photographs weddings. After each shoot, Nicole retouches each and every photo.
