What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
"Just Reflexology"--by specializing in a single type of bodywork the focus is specific, being sensitive to each reflex, listening to it's story.
A wonderful technique may not be effective for every reflex in every foot--choosing how to approach congestion and "emptiness" will change the session.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
My mother and brother are bodyworkers and wellness practitioners and I observed the benefits their clients had.
When my son was born they taught me techniques I could use for him.
Then I went on to study and join the family practice.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping people feel better and knowing they are participating in a fuller, more enjoyable life for their self and with their families.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Hearing the stories that they can walk without pain and can even dance at a wedding.
Heated stones can be especially beneficial during a massage. In addition to providing a warm, reassuring weight, their heat penetrates down to the muscles to quickly loosen them. At most salons and spas, adding hot stones costs extra. At Green Massage, it's complimentary.
Green massage's therapists customize their massages to the client, adding the hot stones upon request and performing deep-tissue work on areas that need extra attention. They also pay special attention to the feet during reflexology treatments.
When smooth river rocks are radiating heat through your muscles, loosening ligaments and untying knots, stress doesn't stand a chance. And when your partner is lying next to you with a relaxed look on their face during a couple's session, it becomes obvious that massage is beneficial in more ways than one. That's why Green Massage makes it easy to squeeze in a session no matter what your time constraints, offering massages that range from 30 to 90 minutes.
A Cut Above Hair Studio is a Redken Elite Salon. That means the on-staff hairstylists, colorists, nail technicians, and skincare specialists not only boast years of practice, but they do their diligence to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques.
Over on the salon side, stylists provide designer cuts personalized to each client; they'll add color, give hair shape and volume, or straighten it to create a look that suits their client's individual features and lifestyle. Skincare services are just as personalized—during the custom spa facial, aestheticians employ warm towels, toners, moisturizers, and steam to wrestle out whatever blemishes are interfering with skin's natural radiance. Massages and body wraps round out the pampering services, offering respite from stresses such as work deadlines or trying to get your dog to eat your homework.

Massage therapist Kristen Nicole has worked amidst white coats and white robes. Which is to say, the licensed massage therapist has a background doing massage in both clinical and spa settings, giving her the versatility to address both physical pain and stress. She's experienced in massage modalities ranging from Swedish to myofascial release, but each session will be customized depending on the client's own complaints and needs. For those sensitive to lotions or scents, Kristen uses organic solid lotion bars and body butters during her treatments.
