Though the workouts never repeat, they often contain moves such as running, weightlifting, calisthenics, bodyweight exercises, kettlebells, and gymnastics-inspired exercises. Kerri Almaas, Beast CrossFit's trainer, likes to stay active—not only is she certified in CrossFit Level 1, kettlebells, and Olympic lifting, but she also loves to camp, cook, snowboard, and play around with her two dogs. At Beast CrossFit, she designs a new Workout of the Day, or WOD, each day, designed around CrossFit’s tenets of functional, varied fitness. Though the exercises rotate constantly, they often feature moves such as weightlifting, running, rowing, kettlebell exercises, calisthenics, and plyometrics.
