Coffee makes people crave baked goods, just as baked goods make people crave justice. Take a bite out of sweet, crumbly crime with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $13 for two sandwiches and two beers or glasses of wine (up to a $28 value)
- $10 for $20 worth of coffee, sandwiches, and café foods
The menu includes the southerner panini with pulled pork, pickled vegetables, and barbecue-mustard sauce ($9), bagels with ricotta and prosciutto ($6), and iced lattes ($3.25/12 oz. drink). The café also serves beer and wine by the glass (up to $5 each).
Brosenbrus Cafe combines the convenience of a coffee bar with the cuisine of a refined sandwich shop, creating an ambiance that azcentral.com described as “young, hip and summer-session sedate.” In addition to brewing Cartel coffee, the cooks also artfully layer pulled pork, pickled vegetables, or hummus between slices of ciabatta or focaccia bread. Steven Gross described the culinary passion that he and co-owner Brad Stewart share, telling State Press Magazine, “whenever we’re around food we always want to experiment.”
This creative energy extends beyond the menu to the café’s clean, modern decor. Seating fills the high-ceilinged space, allowing patrons to enjoy their orders while sitting at one of the gleaming wooden tables, in a plaid armchair, or on the shoulders of an obliging employee.
Sandwich was great. The turkey bacon pesto comes on ciabatta bread, was big enough to be filling without leaving me stuffed, and had a nice balance oDavid M., Yelp, 5/20/11
Service, Coffee. Espresso. Food. All off the charts. Great place to study (free wifi) or hang out with a few friends.Ryan T., Yelp, 5/16/12
