Choose from Three Options

  • $1,999 for four porcelain veneers with an exam and x-rays (a $3,980 value)
  • $2,999 for six porcelain veneers with an exam and x-rays (a $5,970 value)
  • $3,999 for eight porcelain veneers with an exam and x-rays (a $7,960 value)

Thin, strong pieces of porcelain cover the front of crooked, chipped, discolored, or misshapen teeth. The veneer treatment will take place over two visits. After a consultation during the first visit, the dentist modifies the shape of the patient’s teeth to fit the veneers, takes a mold, and helps the patient select the color. During the second visit, the veneers are bonded to teeth.

California Smile

In addition to sharing the same parents and dental practice, Drs. Son Pham and Thuy Pham share a devotion to beautifying and restoring teeth through the full range of family- and cosmetic-dentistry services. Dr. Son demonstrates this commitment by continually exceeding his yearly required hours of continuing education, staying abreast of such dental developments as non-mercury fillings, all-porcelain crowns, and whistling dentures. Dr. Thuy, meanwhile, volunteers each year at Remote Area Medical, an outreach program where she provides free dental care for the community.

The dentists' focus on advanced yet comfortable treatments carries into the decor of the practice. Guests are welcomed with cheery yellow walls and vibrant art and relax in treatment rooms sporting LCD flat-screen TVs, on which they can watch a movie of their choice while undergoing treatment.

The Groupon Guide to: Pilgrim Rhymes

Most schoolchildren learn about the Pilgrims of Plymouth Colony from a series of mnemonic rhymes. Here's a look at how well these couplets hold up to historical scrutiny:

The Rhyme: They hunted turkey for work-y/And for chuckles they ate their own buckles.
True or False? While it is true that most of the Pilgrims were employed by the Dutch East India Company as turkey trappers, there is little historical evidence to suggest that the Pilgrims ate their own buckles for fun—it's more likely they ate the buckles for their high iron content.

The Rhyme: Seeking freedom of thought/On the Mayflower they fought/Millions and millions of mermen.
True or False? The Pilgrims were actually already free to practice their religion at their settlement in Holland, and their reason for coming to America had more to do with cultural identity than freedom to worship. Also, the mermen are thought to be apocryphal.

The Rhyme: If you fall asleep covered in mud/The Pilgrims appear to eat all your blood.
True or False? Every mother warns her children that if they refuse to take their bath, a vengeful band of Pilgrims will materialize to extract a terrifying revenge. This is true, but you can also trigger the appearance of the bloodthirsty Pilgrims simply by reading the word "Pilgrim" nine times in the course of a day.

Was the Mayflower attacked by mermen?
