About Race/LA
CityRace Urban Adventure Hunts challenge teams of amateur sleuths with urban odysseys through scenic Los Angeles neighborhoods, each calling upon brainpower, teamwork, detective skills, and a dash of moxie. Groupon holders can grab their smartest gumshoe friend or rent a friendly nerd and get ready to hit the streets for an adventure that begins with each team receiving a packet of clues. Some clues are a cinch, some are head scratchers, and others require blowing the dust off unused gray matter or forging a psychic bond with Sherlock Holmes. Speed thinkers are charged with following the clues to various locales around the race area, where they can rack up points by answering questions and, in some cases, picking up unique scavenger-hunt items, though no points are awarded for picking up actual scavengers. For race rules, be sure to check out the FAQ.
