It’s difficult to hit a target from far away, which is why holes-in-one are rare and the Goodyear blimp has never been shot successfully with an arrow. Drive hard with a vengeance, thanks to today’s Groupon to Crane’s Bend at Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee. Choose between the following options:

  • For $20, you get a day of golf (up to a $65 total value), which includes:
  • Unlimited rounds of golf for one, including cart rental, at nine-hole course (up to $45 value).
  • Pre-round bucket of driving range balls (a $5 value)

  • For $35, you get a day of golf for two (up to a $130 total value), which includes:

  • Two pre-round buckets of driving range balls (a $10 value)
  • Two sets of rental clubs (a $30 value)<p>

For both deals, range balls are only available before the first round of play. Additional rounds of golf and rental clubs are subject to availability.

Designed by astute fairway carver Mike Dasher, Orange Lake Resort’s nine-hole Crane’s Bend course spans 1,901 yards of scenic terrain that pay homage to the area’s native topography and waterfowl. The undulating utopia encircles a pristine lake, where a central fountain showers the water in a steady mist and the freshly liberated spirits of drowned golf balls. Golfers still hoping to swing their way to a hole-in-one will appreciate the par-30 course’s six par 3s, while three par 4s allow long-ball lovers to unleash considerable power.

With today’s deal, lone linksmen or divot-tearing duos can loop the nine-hole labyrinth as many times as possible in one day after preparing their swings with a session at the driving range. The package also includes use of the resort’s rental clubs for golfers without a serviceable set of irons, woods, or hard-hitting mannequin legs.

About Crane's Bend at Orange Lake Resort

The scenic fairways, greens, and hazards of four golf courses blanket the grounds at Orange Lake Resort, drawing in golfers with layouts designed by some of the game's premier architects. Beyond the signature course designed by Arnold Palmer, the resort makes use of native pines, wetlands, and flowing water in a pair of nine-hole executive courses. Each of the courses also sells name-brand apparel, accessories, and equipment in their onsite pro shops. In addition, a full range of practice facilities—from lighted driving ranges to putting greens and chipping greens—lets golfers hone their skills before their big-stakes auditions for the Tin Cup sequel.

Elsewhere on the resort, visitors can relax in a 1,200-foot-long lazy river, tan on beaches surrounding an 80-acre lake, or explore the bars, restaurants, and shopping centers that populate four villages covering 1,450 acres of the Orlando tropics.
