Choose Between Two Options

  • $14 for two specialty dishes and two drinks (up to a $29.50 value)
  • $28 for four specialty dishes and four drinks (up to a $59 value)

Diners can choose from one of the special dishes on the menu, such as the Chicken Ni ($6.75), an entree of chicken wings in a simmered broth of sweet soy sauce; the gyoza ($5.50), a dish of pan-fried pork dumplings; or the beef tataki ($8.25), which consists of seared beef thinly sliced and accented with ponzu sauce. Libations from the bar, such as a large hot sake ($6.50), a large bottle of Sapporo ($6.50), or a glass of plum wine ($5), complement each entree’s flavors.

Gotetsu

When many people think of Japanese cuisine, visions of multihued sushi rolls often spring to mind. But at Gotetsu, the menu is strikingly absent of the rice and raw-fish morsels. The staff is helmed by owner and native of Japan Yukari Watanabe, who has chosen to highlight some of the most often-overlooked dishes in Japanese cuisine. Among them is yakitori, also called kushiyaki, a dish of grilled chicken and meats on thin wooden skewers.
