Board-certified physician Dr. Chang-Jiang Zheng—also known to his pateints as “Dr. CJ”—is not only the founder of MRI Pathways, where he helps patients prevent and overcome bodily woes, but is also at work on a book about lower-back pain. He's a natural author for the subject, considering his expertise on the issue spans not only multiple disciplines—including a PhD in epidemiology—but multiple continents. After studying medicine in China, the preventative-medicine specialist relocated to the States, where he continued to gain experience in St. Paul's Regions Hospital and at the University of Minnesota. He later founded MRI Pathways as a facility dedicated to helping patients prevent illness before it arises and treat it before it fully develops. Using MRI technology, the facility specializes in the assessment of musculoskeletal pain and health screenings for a variety of disorders, helping patients live fuller lives with fewer aches.
MRI Pathways helps patients prevent chronic medical conditions such as stroke, back pain, and arthritis through a combination of advanced screening technology and lifestyle changes. Using MRI technology, the facility screens for carotid-artery narrowing, potentially malignant growths, and even brain aneurysms.
