Despite its barren disposition, the desert is a thriving zoological environment overrun with unique critters such as the barb-tailed scorpion, the Groucho-mustachioed lizard, and immortal cartoon coyote. Observe the desert environment with today's Groupon: for $75, you get an ATV Adventure Tour followed by two poolside beers from Rebel Adventure Tours, located on Ogden Avenue (a $175 value).

Rebel Adventure Tours guides adventurer-achievers through the natural beauty of Nevada, sending thrill-thirsty wanderlusters on sand-raising excursions through the refreshing, high-altitude desert outside the town of Coyote Springs. After a one-hour drive to the location, you'll begin your ATV Adventure Tour, spending an hour astride your own ATV before breaking for lunch (a $169 value, including $10 fuel surcharge). Desert surfers will marvel at the rugged Southwestern majesty of the Sheep's Head mountain range, then tumbleweed off-road for some motor frolicking through the former 40-acre domain of Sherrie's Ranch Brothel. After lunch, you'll remount your four-wheeled deep-desert vehicle for another hour, going where automobiles can't, deftly navigating dust-free trails in search of native wildlife, sweeping mountain views, and untapped reserves of lime Jello. Speed back to home base to soak off sweat and mud splatter as you sip two cold beers in the pool (a $6 value).

The ATV Adventure Tour runs three to seven days a week and includes bottled water, refreshments, and a boxed lunch. Each staff member is fully trained in necessary safety procedures and suited to handle any injuries caused by boxing-gloved cacti. All parched explorers must call ahead to make reservations.
